| Running alongside the English Regional Chairs exhibition this is a display of examples of contemporary chairs from around the world that challenge traditional notions of seating through innovative and varied approaches to form and function. A simple and elegant approach to the graphics allows the chairs to take centre stage within Houghton Kneale's exciting spatial layout. User friendly but unobtrusive labels in the form of double-sided laminated information sheets on retractable cords provide an additional level of interpretation. | |
